Michigan Masters of Ceramics 2006:

Although the artists represented in this exhibit by no means exhaust the list of ceramists who can be called “Master of Ceramics” in Michigan, the exhibit is a beginning in the recognition of those who have enriched the ceramic community in our state.  All have shown their work nationally and internationally.  All have won numerous awards for the excellence of their art.  All have contributed a great deal to the Michigan Ceramic Art Association dating back to its days as the Michigan Potters’ Association and been generous in sharing their philosophies, technical skills and aesthetic approaches in workshops, lectures and demonstrations.  MCAA thanks all of these artists for their continuing contributions to the ceramic arts and congratulates them on their success.
